How to rotate PDF pages online

Add one or more PDFs — up to 20 files and 64 MB each — and set the page orientation before download:

  • Add your PDFs. Drop one or more files into the box or choose them from your device;
  • Rotate the pages. Use the button on a page card to turn that page alone, or choose All, Portrait or Landscape and use the group arrows;
  • Click Rotate PDF. One processed document downloads as a PDF; multiple documents download together in a ZIP archive.

Rotate one page in a PDF

Click the rotate button on a page card to turn only that page 90° clockwise. Click twice for 180°, or three times for the same result as a 90° counterclockwise turn. Other pages stay unchanged, and different pages can have different angles in the finished PDF.

Rotate portrait or landscape PDF pages together

Choose Portrait or Landscape in the sidebar, then rotate that page group clockwise or counterclockwise. The group action applies to matching pages in every uploaded PDF, while pages with the other orientation remain as they were.

Rotate all pages in one or more PDFs

Choose All to turn every page in every uploaded document. Batch rotation accepts up to 20 PDFs. A single result downloads as a PDF; several rotated documents are packed into one ZIP.

Permanently rotate a PDF and save it

A rotate-view button in a PDF reader may change only what you see on screen. The document can open sideways again after it is closed. This tool saves the new orientation in the downloaded PDF, so it stays rotated in another browser, email attachment, device and printout.

Rotate scanned PDFs without losing quality

Pages are not converted to images or compressed again. Searchable text remains searchable, selectable and copyable, while images, links, bookmarks and page formatting are preserved.

Bank statements, forms, contracts and invoices

A scanned bank statement, KYC document, tax form, contract or invoice may contain one sideways page while the rest are upright. Correct only the affected pages before emailing, printing or submitting the PDF.

Questions
How do I rotate a PDF and save it?

Upload one or more PDFs, rotate individual pages from their cards or use the group controls, then click Rotate PDF. The new orientation is saved in the downloaded file.

Can I rotate a PDF online for free?

Yes. The PDF rotator is free to use, with no account, subscription or software installation required. It does not add a watermark to the finished file.

How do I permanently rotate a PDF?

Set the page rotations and download the processed PDF. The new orientation is saved in the file instead of changing only the temporary view in your PDF reader.

Can I rotate one page in a PDF?

Yes. Click the rotate button on that page card. Each click turns only that page 90° clockwise, while the other pages remain unchanged.

Can different PDF pages have different rotations?

Yes. Rotate each page from its own card to set a separate angle. One page can turn 90°, another 180° or 270°, and unchanged pages keep their original orientation.

Can I rotate all PDF pages at once?

Yes. Choose All in the sidebar, then use the clockwise or counterclockwise arrow. The action turns every page in every uploaded PDF.

Can I rotate only portrait or landscape pages?

Yes. Choose Portrait or Landscape, then use a group rotation arrow. Only pages that match that orientation are turned.

Can I rotate PDF pages 90° or 180°?

Yes. One turn rotates pages 90° clockwise or counterclockwise. Apply two turns to rotate them 180°.

Can I rotate several PDF files at once?

Yes. You can process up to 20 PDFs in one batch. Set page rotations for each document, then download the results together in a ZIP archive.

Will I download a PDF or ZIP file?

One processed document downloads as a PDF. When you upload several PDFs, the results download together in one ZIP archive.

Can I correct pages with mixed orientations?

Yes. Rotate the sideways pages individually, or use the Portrait and Landscape groups. Pages that are already upright can remain unchanged.

Does rotating a PDF reduce its quality?

No. Pages are not converted to images or compressed again. Searchable text, images, links, bookmarks and page formatting are preserved.

Can I rotate a scanned PDF?

Yes. The tool works with scanned bank statements, forms, contracts, invoices and other PDF documents. Embedded scan images are not recompressed.

What are the PDF file and page limits?

You can upload up to 20 PDFs. Each document can contain up to 200 pages and be up to 64 MB.

Can I rotate a password-protected PDF?

No. Remove the password in an application that can open the document, then upload the unlocked PDF again.

Will a digital signature remain valid after rotation?

No. Rotation changes the PDF, which invalidates its existing digital signature. If the result must be signed, sign the rotated file after processing.

Can I rotate a PDF on iPhone, Android, Windows or Mac?

Yes. The online PDF rotator works in browsers on iPhone, Android, Windows, macOS and Linux. No app, desktop program or browser extension is required.
